Cristina Huesch, Managing Director, Alliance Legal Services
Cristina holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Law (Family Law Practice) and is a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist (Accredited Specialist Scheme). She is accredited in Collaborative Practice, which aims to achieve outcomes based on the ‘interests’ of all parties, as opposed to a traditional ‘positional’ based approach. She is qualified to be appointed by the court as an Independent Children’s Lawyer.
Cristina obtained her first degree from Sydney University before undertaking post graduate study with Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and the College of Law in Sydney. Prior to establishing Alliance Family Law Cristina was the Canberra office Partner for Armstrong Legal. Cristina speaks German as a second language.
Tania Hayward, Criminal Lawyer
Tania is our Criminal Lawyer. Tania was a police officer with the NT Police Force and during that time worked in Police Prosecutions, Crash Investigations, Criminal Investigation Branch, and the Domestic Violence Unit. Tania completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree at Macquarie University, Sydney. She went on to work as a Legal Officer with the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department in the Royal Commissions team, and then as a Prosecutor with the ACT Director of Public Prosecutions. Tania has also conducted Government Investigations with the ACT Professional Standards Unit. Tania can assist with your criminal or traffic matter. Janet Preston, Practice Manager
Janet has extensive experience in small business administration, with strong skills in information technology, systems, and communications. Janet holds a Bachelor of Business degree, and a Graduate Diploma in Vocational Education and Training.
Sharon Williams, Administration Officer
Sharon has 15 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary. She has a background and experience in personal injury, insurance, shipping, and family law.
Grace Underwood, Administrative Assistant
Grace has extensive experience in legal administration after two years as a Magistrate’s Associate in the ACT Magistrate’s Court. Grace is well advanced in her studies towards a Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England.
Kate James, Administrative Assistant 
Kate has worked part time since year 12. She started her studies for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Australian National University in 2016. She has been awarded a university scholarship from Sneddon Hall and Gallop, and won the ANU’s PCA People’s Prize in Lawyer’s Justice and Ethics.
